

Aileen Ruth Haag passed away on March 30, 2012 at her home in Tumwater at the age of 56. Aileen was born on March 8, 1956 in Auburn, WA to Max and Barbara Hays. She moved to Lacey in 1963 and graduated from Timberline High School in 1974. Aileen was a dedicated, hard working state employee and worked for over 30 years in the Olympia area for the Washington State Department of Health. In Aileen’s free time, she enjoyed knitting with friends, attending sporting events (especially baseball games and her daughter’s basketball games), and traveling with family.
In 1979, Aileen married Steve B. Haag who was by her side as she passed late Friday morning. Aileen was a loving sister, wife and mother. She dedicated her life to her family and is survived by her husband Steve of Tumwater, son Jacob Haag of Dayton, OH, daughter Kyle Haag of Tumwater, and brothers Paul and Ross Hays of Portland and Seattle.
A Memorial Service to honor Aileen will be held on Saturday April 7 at 2:00 pm at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, 5725 Littlerock Rd., Tumwater. Directly following the service, there will be a celebration of Aileen’s life at Albee’s Farm, 4127 20th Lane NW, Olympia. Directions are available by calling 360-866-4683.
