Allen Oster, of Tumwater Washington, passed away one November 24, 2024 at Saint Peter’s Hospital in Olympia. Allen was born on March 14, 1935 in Hazelton, North Dakota to parents Christian Oster and Rosina Breckel. He was one of a large family that included eight other children. The family moved to Washington State and Allen graduated from Centralia High School.
On February 18, 1961 Allen married Patsy Louise Ahern also in Centralia and together they had three children: Paul Allen Oster, Kathy Louise Oster, and Mark Steven Oster.
Allen’s professional life was split between being an education assistant for eighteen years for Tumwater High School, and a Route Salesman for the Coca Cola Company from which he retired after twenty seven years.
When not working Allen enjoyed lock smithing, collecting tools, and tinkering in his shop. He was a good man and a loving husband to his wife Patsy for sixty three years. He was a loving father to his three children; grandfather to Rachel, Jeff, and Kristina; and a great grandfather of four.
Allen had a wonderful life and he loved the Lord, and is now in Heaven.
