Barbara Ann Wells

Barbara Ann Wells (Youckton, Daniels) was born on December 20th, 1943, in Nisqually, Washington. She passed away on June 26th, 2017 in Seattle, Washington. She was preceded by mother Rosie Arlene, father, Richard A. Wells Sr., son, Albert, brother, George, and sister, Caroline.

Barbara is survived by children; Anthony T. Youckton Sr. (Alisa), Jerry E. Youckton, Charlotte M. Lopez (Ray), Alberta J. Youckton, Marvin Youckton Jr (Jennifer), and Jerome Wells, along with 26 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, an Auntie/Mom to Ken, 4 sisters, Josephine, Joyce, Georgette, and Carmen, 2 brothers Richard Jr, Foster, many, many nieces and nephews and adopted grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and "gramma" and "auntie" to many family acquaintances. She also leaves behind her two dogs, Angel and Tuffy.

She was a very proud Nisqually tribe member and a proud Wasco/Warm Springs descendant. There will be a candlelight visitation on Thursday, at 7pm at Billie Frank Jr Gym. A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 30th, 2017 at 10am at Billie Frank Jr Gym and a graveside service to follow at Leschi Cemetery. Dinner to follow service.

Barbara was a daughter, sister, auntie, "GRANDMA", storyteller, teacher, mentor, master beader, she beaded many, many artwork pieces. She was also a scorekeeper for the tomahawks and Rebels.
