

Betty retired from the Department of Labor and Industries in 1992. Following her state retirement, she worked for a private insurance company for nine years. Betty was not one to sit idle. She spent 13 years working at Costco as a food demonstrator. She often said how much she loved being around people. Betty finally retired from working at the age of 82. Betty enjoyed quality family time, camping, watching the Mariners and Seattle Seahawks and playing bingo.
Betty is preceded in death by her brothers Ray and Justin Benson and sisters Mary Clarambeau and Eileen Hazen.
Betty is survived by her three sons Daniel Lee and his wife Shelley, Thomas Lee and his wife Debbie, Joel Forthman and his wife Tonya, and daughter Angie DeAguiar. In addition to her children she is also survived by 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 2 at 1:30 PM at Mills & Mills Memorial Park 5725 Littlerock Rd., SW., Tumwater, WA.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 27 at New Bridge Community Church from 1-4 PM
