

Beverly Ann "Morrow" Jackson Beverly, 77, passed away peacefully following an extended illness with cancer on January 28, 2012 at her home in Olympia, WA surrounded by her family. She was born on February 22, 1934. She graduated from Olympia High School in 1952 and married Robert C. Jackson on September 27, 1952. They were married for 47 years and together they raised a family of 2 children. Her husband preceded her in death on December 31, 1999. She was employed for 25 years by the State of Washington (Department of Labor & Industries), retiring in 1989. She enjoyed camping with her husband, family & friends. She was active in the Jr Women's Club & Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She enjoyed sports and bowled for several years in the Brewery Wife's Bowling League & currently bowled in the Classy Seniors Bowling League. One of her greatest joys was football and she & her husband were Seahawks Booster Club Members for many years. She was also a member of the VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother & great- grandmother and she was generous & devoted to those she loved. She was affectionately called GiGi by her family. She will be deeply missed by everyone. She is survived by her sons, Stephen Jackson (Julie) and Robert E. Jackson (Debbie/Deceased), both of Olympia; Brother-in-law Dean Jackson (Brenda) of Bremerton and several nieces & nephews; 4 Grandchildren: Ryan Jackson of Olympia, Amy Calhoun of Bellingham & Jerad Jackson & Matt Jackson, both of Olympia; 4 Great-Grandchildren: Kaiden Jackson, Bryce Jackson, Cain Calhoun & Maren Calhoun. Services will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at 10:00 A.M. at Mills & Mills Funeral & Memorial Park, 5725 Littlerock Rd SW, Tumwater, WA. The family would like to thank Assured Hospice and Home Instead Senior Care of Olympia for their wonderful care & compassion as well as family, friends & neighbors for their support & prayers.
