Carolyn was born December 25, 1937 in Coalville, Utah to Robert and Helen Welch. Carolyn graduated from North Summit high school and married Jimmy Winters; later divorced. She moved to Washington in 1985 where she was employed for 20+ years at Boeing.
Carolyn had 5 children, Cheryl (Glen) Purdy, Kelly (Reva) Winters, Layne (Lori) Winters, Danita (Kayo) Wright and Brent (Stacy) Winters. She dearly loved her 11 grandchildren 21 great grandchildren.
Carolyn served faithfully for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints where she learned and found much joy for much joy genealogy work. She was a great storyteller which led her to writing many life stories for her family and friends. She spent much of her time gardening and finding ways to stay healthy through vitamin regimens and holistic healing.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents and granddaughter, Amanda. She held a special place in her heart for Amanda and looked forward to being able to see her once again. Carolyn will be greatly missed by her family, friends and community.
A private celebration of life will be held on a future date.
