Charles Wilfred Martin, of Tumwater, WA passed away peacefully in his sleep with his devoted wife, Jill by his side on September 11, 2024. Chuck, as he was called by his friends and family, grew up in Norwich, Ct and was a proud descendent of the Naragansett Indian Tribe. Chuck was best known for his devotion to God, strong work ethic and a large repertoire of bad dad jokes. He could always be counted on to pray over his friends and family, and made many sacrifices over the course of his life to protect and care for his loved ones. Chuck is survived by his wife (Jill), sister (Doris), three daughters (Donna, Melody and April), six grandchildren (Emily, Ethan, Lynden, Luke, Manuel and Tiras), and one great- grandson (Bennett). Chuck was once asked, “If you could invite three people from the past or present, to dinner, who would that be?” We hope he is happily enjoying that special meal with Jesus Christ- his personal savior, his grandfather Milo and his Dad Stanley (who passed away when Chuck was only 10 years old).
