Charles Wilson “Pat” McCoy, son of Charles Andrew McCoy and Matilda Josephine Lauer was born May 4th, 1917 in Dundee, Ohio. Pat was the last surviving member of the McCoy family of 8 children and a half brother and sister. Pat was preceded in death by his wife Jeannette Elizabeth Wolfe in 2000. Pat’s children are: Karen, Paradise, California, Jerry, Olympia Washington, Barbara, Renton, Washington and Gayle, Pasco, Washington.
In 1949 the family moved west and lived in Oregon, California and finally in Othello, Washington. Pat has always been involved in driving trucks or other equipment. In Othello he had a farm and of course a driving job to supplement the income. He retired from the Washington State Department of Transportation in 1981. Pat and Jeannette traveled after retirement and visited all 48 contiguous states. After a short time in Pahrump, Nevada, they relocated to Moses Lake, Washington. Pat moved to Olympia, Washington after the death of his spouse.
