

Charlotte V. Wiseman was born on October 23, 1918 in Centralia, Washington. She died on September 15, 2023 in Lacey, Washington. Charlotte was born to the marital union of George and Julia Morris. The Morris’ were a railroad family so Charlotte and her brother George (Buster) Morris moved frequently as children. Charlotte attended the historic Lincoln High School in Tacoma Washington where she graduated in 1937.
Charlotte traveled to Indianapolis, Indiana where in 1938 she married Homer A. Fulton. While in Indiana Homer and Charlotte had a son, Richard. In 1941 they moved back to Washington where in 1942 their second son Gary was born in Tacoma, Washington.
The family moved to Sunset Beach in Olympia, Washington where twins Dennis and David were born. Charlotte enjoyed the bay where she kept track of the boys. In 1960 the family moved to Lakewood, Washington. Charlotte’s husband Homer died in October 1973. On July 27, 1975 Charlotte married Jim Wiseman. They moved to Portland, Oregon where she and Jim lived until he retired. They built their dream home on Pattison Lake in Lacey, Washington. Jim Wiseman died in July 2004. After Jim died Charlotte moved to Panorama City where she lived in the Chalets for 15 years. She moved to the CNR at Parama where she died on September15, 2023.
Charlotte was a vivacious person who loved to travel, loved to garden and loved to meet new people. She enjoyed cruising all over the world where she and Jim visited Russia, the north Baltic region, the Caribbean, Australia, and Mexico. Charlotte truly, truly enjoyed cruising with her family every winter.
Charlotte found deep fulfillment in the “Writing Our Lives” program she developed at Panorama. She interviewed many people about their lives and helped them to document their life experiences in written biographical pieces.
Charlotte loved God and expressed that love in her love for people. She was a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church.
Charlotte was preceded in death by two husbands, Homer Fulton and Jim Wisemen. By her parents and brother Bus, by a son Richard, and by a grandson Greg Fulton. She is survived by three sons, Gary and his wife Sheri, Dennis and his wife Cindy, and David and his wife Mary, ten grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
