She is survived by her daughters, Ashley Hoover and Rosemary Champion, her mother, Sandra Mitchell and sisters, Joan Hitchcock, Kimberly Aschenbrenner and Tracy Mitchell as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father James H. Mitchell and daughter Jennifer Champion.
Cheryl graduated from WF West High School in 1976 and received an AA in Accounting from SPSCC. Cheryl loved to camp at the ocean, cook for her family and friends and was an avid watcher of the Seahawks and Nascar races. She liked to embroider and read, she also loved to collect chickens.
Cheryl was involved with the VFW Women’s Auxiliary and held the office of President and Treasurer, as well as being involved in the Olympia Women’s Bowling League along with her daughter Rosemary.
There will be a reception following internment at Mills & Mills Funeral Home, Friday, April 28, 2017 at 2:00pm.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Cheryl’s name to the charity of your choice.
