Christine was born in Vienna, Austria on December 4, 1925 to Elizabeth and Rudolph Kovar. She met her husband of 64 years in Vienna, Austria--Walter B. Wooten, an American soldier. Walter passed away on February 14, 2010. He was 86 years old. Together, Walter and Christine had four children: Christina E. Wooten (Sprout), Walter R. Wooten, Betty Ayers-Finehuut, and Robert C. Wooten.
Christine grew up in WWII in Vienna, Austria where she had a very rough start in life. That made her a strong woman that we all knew and loved. When she moved with Walter B. Wooten to the United States, she made many life long friends and memories. Christine is the grandmother to 10 grandchildren and a great-grandmother to 17 great-grandchildren.
Christine loved family trips to the ocean, the park or just taking drives to local sites, especially during the holidays. Her greatest joys were her time and memories made with her family. There was never any question of Christine's love and devotion. She was always a strong believer in Jesus Christ and a long time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Olympia, Washington.
Christine was full of life and loved by so many. She will forever be missed.
The family asks that any memorial donations be made to Emmanuel Bible Fellowship or to Alzheimer's Research. Thank you.
