Born in French Camp, California, David lived a full and meaningful life marked by hard work, deep love for his family, and a spirit of adventure. A skilled carpenter by trade, David spent much of his life building homes and working at a logging mill to provide for his family. His craftsmanship and work ethic were matched only by his warmth and humor.
In retirement, David and Charlotte embraced life together, traveling to far-off places like Alaska, Australia, and New Zealand. He enjoyed a bit of luck at the slots and craps tables, and could often be found outside on hot summer days, working on home improvement projects with a smile on his face.
David was known for his down-to-earth nature and quick wit. He had a unique ability to make friends wherever he went, offering a friendly word and a ready laugh. His presence brought comfort and joy to those around him.
He is survived by his daughters, Jeanette and Debbie; his grandchildren, Amanda, Leah, and Caroline; and his great-grandchildren, Violetta and Santino. His memory will live on through the many lives he touched with kindness and quiet strength.
