She also volunteered at Providence St. Peter Hospital for approximately 20 years.
She is survived by her three children Steven Hoffman (Cindy), Ted Hoffman (Nanyeon), and Lori Gregg (Art); two granddaughters Jessica Yunker (Trevor) and Brandy Hoffman; great grandchildren, Amelia Yunker, and Quinlan Sanford; and her brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Harriet Mercer.
She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Hoffman; her son Michael Hoffman; her sisters Margene Thomas, Valerie Rydalch, Linda Lane; and her parents Ruby (Vowles) and Warran Mercer.
A viewing and graveside service was held for close family and friends on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Mills & Mills Funeral Home & Memorial Park in Tumwater, Washington.
