Delbert Lazelle, 90, passed away peacefully at home. He is survived by his daughters, Terese' (Leo) LeMoine, Kimberley (Bill) Sommerdorf,, "adopted" daughter, Lisa (Heath) Dickerson, four granddaughters, Desiree, Ariel, Kalya and Nicole and one great-granddaughter, Kayden. Also, one sister, Janet (Tom) Parker along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Darlene, brothers Lloyd, Donald and Harold Lazelle and parents Warren and Bina Lazelle.
He graduated from Yelm High School in 1952, worked briefly in logging and then joined the Marine Corps in 1954 and served until 1957. He married his high school sweetheart, Darlene Warren-Bircher in 1956. After his service in the Marine Corps, he became a journeyman carpenter until his retirement.
Over the years, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, bowling and his small farm. Del also enjoyed his garden and just being outside. He will be greatly missed. Funeral Services July 29, 1:00 at Mills and Mills, Tumwater.
