Florence had an unwavering faith in God and had been very active in church activities throughout her life. Her family was very important to her and she loved spending time with them. She enjoyed going to the Pacific Ocean with her family and spent many hours beach-combing and running in the waves, rain or shine. She loved taking road trips and "girls nights out" with her daughters. She was a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great grandmother, sister, aunt, friend, and homemaker, and in her spare time enjoyed crafts, cooking, and gardening. She loved to take on challenging projects such as building her own barn, chicken coop, and pig pen, and stringing barbed wire. If it needed to be done she could do it. No job was too big for her.
She was very active and loved being outdoors. She loved exploring the US by RV and she especially enjoyed attending the RV rallies meeting fellow travelers. She also traveled outside the US. London, Australia, Hawaii (before it was a state), the Holy Lands, China, and Sweden, were some of the places she traveled.
