They met in Lisbon, North Dakota (Mom's home town). Dad was from Ashland, Oregon. They were married 66 years and have five sons and four daughter in-laws: Rick, Mike (Debbie), Bud (Beth), Tony (Cheryl) and Randy (Donnell); multiple grand and great grand children.
Dad served 27 years in the Army with tours in Korea and Vietnam.
Dad loved trains as most of you know. Mom enjoyed making beautiful greeting cards.
Their deep love for each other, and their children and families was their greatest gift.
In honor of their wishes no services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in their name to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the local Food Bank.
