Helen had a passion for everything horses. This started at a very young age when she worked tirelessly to build a false wall of hay to hide a horse from her dad. She would wander the neighborhood loving on all of the neighbors’ horses with a possible reward of sitting on one of them.
During her lifetime she dabbled in every aspect possible with horses, trail riding, showing, gaming, breeding race horses, and probably the biggest was finding horses in need and helping them. Along with her best friend Skeeter, they had many wonderful horses which they enjoyed to the fullest.
Helen retired from the Pabst Brewing Company and thoroughly enjoyed being retired. She loved watching the Mariners and the Seahawks and trying her luck at the casinos.
She was preceded by her parents Paul and Ruth Huber, her brothers, Byron, Darrell, Dan, Ron, Frank Huber and sister Vadera Holt. She also was preceded by her two sons John and Jeff Yates.
