John M Doyle was born on November 29th, 1929 and passed away at Stonewell Lodge and Senior Care in Olympia on April 20th, 2022. He loved his family, hunting, golf, fishing and having fun. He lived a long, successful and happy life beginning in Wauconda, Washington where he was born in a log cabin to Mary Mamie Sunich and William Doyle. He was the 4th of 5 children. When his grandson, Jordan Mason Allen, was 8 Jack found it too difficult to make and Jordan decided to take over the candy making. He then started his own candy company, JM Candy Company, naming it after his and his grandfather's first 2 initials.
Jack married Delores Sienkwich in Tacoma in 1949. They later divorced but had three children, Michael, Martin and Susan.
He moved to Olympia as manager of the Pacific Northwest Bell telephone company. He retired from there in 1979 and joined the Washington Independent Telephone Company. He retired from there in 1979 and joined the Washington Independent Telephone Company as their executive director. He retired from there in 1990. His one regret was that he never graduated from high school so when he turned 50, he took a test and got a diploma from St. Martins.
He married Sharon Allen on April 24th, 1973 and he embraced her 3 children, Jeff, Cheryl and Carolyn as his own. During their 49 years of marriage they spent 19 years wintering in Rancho Mirage, California and traveling to Europe and Lanai', Hawaii.
