Starla Globe

Starla Globe left her earthly bonds after several years battling with dementia to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2022 at age 75. Born in 1947 on September 1, to her loving parents Robert and Lillian Schroder in Tacoma, Washington. Her favorite childhood memories were living in Yelm, Washington on a farm surrounded by family and friends.

Starla married her first husband in 1965 and went on to have three children, Michael, Michele and Mark. Starla was remarried on June 5, 1972 to her second husband Jeffrey Globe and went on to have two children together, Jeromy and Lynn.

In addition to being a dedicated and loving wife of 50 years, mother of 5, grandmother to 11 and great grandmother to 12, Starla also loved taking care of children in her home daycare and reading the word of God. Throughout Starla’s life, she held an unwavering faith in the Lord, which she kept ahold of until her final breath. She also was called to always share her faith with those who surrounded her.

Starla has now joined many loved ones in Heaven. Starla is survived by her husband Jeffrey, children Michael, Michele and Lynn, along with 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Starla will be laid to rest and have a celebration of life at the ocean, her favorite place to go, with immediate loved ones.

Psalm 139:14 - I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made;

Ecclesiastes 12:7 - And the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it.
