
Susan A. Siegler, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2025, at the age of 64. Born on October 3, 1960, in Olympia, Washington, Susan lived a life defined by love, compassion, and service to others.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 38 years, Glenn Siegler; her father, Cliff Huntley; her brother, Shane Huntley; her daughter, Zandrea, and husband, Doug; and her son, Terrin. She was a proud grandmother to Jaedyn, Kaiya, Landon, Jackson, Grayson, and Isla, and a great-grandmother to Koa and Kai. She was a bonus mom and grandma to Maria, Markisha, Hunter and their children. She was preceded in death by her mother, Barbara Boe Huntley.
Throughout her life, Susan held many careers, but she found her greatest joy in her work as a paraeducator, supporting children in special education. She had a gift for making each child feel valued and capable, and her dedication left a lasting impact on students and families. After retiring, she cared for her grandchildren, filling the beginning of their lives with her lessons and love.
Susan’s warmth extended far beyond her family and career. Known for her generous spirit and huge heart, she was the first to offer a helping hand to anyone in need. Her kindness and unwavering support will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Susan’s life will be held September 14th at 1:00PM at South Union Grange, 10030 Tilley Rd SW Olympia WA 98512, please bring a dish to share for a potluck lunch.
Susan’s life was a testament to the power of love and selflessness. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
