Colonel William Chambers Jr. Colonel William Chambers Jr. passed away October 10th surrounded by his loving family at the age of 87. Bill was born November 24, 1925 in Atlanta Georgia, and grew up with his two sisters Dorothy and Sarah.
Bill was happily married for 60 years to the love of his life, Eunice Chambers, and the two most recently lived in Olympia, WA. They had four children; Karen, Donald, William III (Laura), and Sally (Jace Munson). Bill was predeceased by his son Donald, who passed away in 1995. He is survived by his sister Sarah, 3 children, 12 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Bill was known to all who had the pleasure of meeting him for his genuine kindness, sense of humor, and pride in his family. He served in the US Air Force for 30 years in many wars and received high honors for his service. Bill was beloved by his large family and was very involved in the lives of all his children and grandchildren.
