Allen Gardner is lovingly remembered by his wife, Verda Jayne Gardner of Ceres; his daughter, Samantha, and son-in-law, Jonathon Norton; and his grandchildren, Calliope and Jonathon Jr. Norton, all of Modesto. He is also survived by his brother, Lon Gardner of Ormond Beach, Florida.
Allen was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Essie Gardner, and his grandson, Xavier Norton.
Allen was an avid bowler who found great joy on the lanes, as well as in traveling and the many adventures he shared riding along in a semi-truck with a close friend. Above all, he cherished his grandchildren, loving them with all his heart.
In keeping with his wishes, Allen will be laid to rest in a private graveside service alongside his parents at Ceres Memorial Park, 1801 E. Whitmore Avenue, Ceres, California.
His kindness, humor, and devotion to his family will be forever remembered.
May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
