Bernardino Matos Dias

Mr. Bernardino Matos Dias entered into rest Saturday March 12, 2016 in Hilmar, California surrounded by his family. He was 76 years old and was born in Norte Grande São Jorge, Azores. Bernardino is survived by his wife Maria Fatima Dias of Hilmar. 2 Sons- Fernando A. Dias and wife Stacy of Sacramento, and Carlos A. Dias of Monterey. 1 Brother- Adelino M. Dias of Ceres, Sister- Nataly Sousa of Hilmar. 2 Grandchildren- Daniel Dias, Michael Dias. Also survived by Brothers and Sisters-in-Law, numerous nephews and nieces. Mr. Dias is Preceded in Death by: His Parents- Albano & Victoria Dias, Brothers-Albano, Alberto, and José Dias, Sister- Maria Adelina D. Sequeira. He was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock, and was a proud member of Casa dos Açores of Hilmar (House of Azores of Hilmar).

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00PM, Wednesday March 16, 2016 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California.

Combined Service of Rosary & Mass- 10:00 AM, Thursday March 17, 2016 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd. Turlock.

Mr. Dias will be laid to rest at N. Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N. Tegner Ave., Hilmar, CA.
