Bette J. Reed

Bette Jean Reed, age 86, of Turlock, California passed away surrounded by her loving family, on Wednesday, April 13, 2022. Bette was born in Hope, Arkansas, November 26, 1935, to Frankie Jackson and Roosevelt McFadden.

Bette is survived by her son Jeffrey Allen (Cynthia Reed) of Turlock; her daughter Frankie Drake (Stanley) of Menlo Park; her sisters, Versie Lee Williams of East Palo Alto and Mary Fairly of San Bernadino. Bette also leaves behind her Grandchildren, Sedric Drake, Avery Drake, Amber Reed and Jeffrey Reed Jr. and her great grandchild Te'shara Williams to honor her memory.

Bette was preceded in death by her spouse Henry Reed; her daughter Carla Reed; her father Roosevelt McFadden and her mother Frankie Jackson; her brother Vernard McFadden and her sister VEsser Davis.

A Funeral Service for Bette will be held Monday, April 25, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at University Ame Zion Church, 3549 Middlefield Road, Palo Alto, CA 94306.

A Committal Service will occur Tuesday, April 26, 2022 from 1:00 PM at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave, Hughson, CA 95326.

Serving as pallbearers are Sedric Drake, Avery Drake, Jeffrey Reed Jr., Dresean Counsel, Deandre Stamper and D'eric Decker.
