Kathy was in our Christian Heirs class at Bethany Church for many years.  She loved Jesus and let everyone around her know this.  She always did her share working for God.  She will be missed here but what a blessing she will be in heaven💕 Joy & Gary Kenan

Cathy never really left the mission field, while working for many years as a hospice nurse she would talk to her patients about heaven. After her retirement, Cathy lead Hannah’s Circle, a group of women devoted to supporting missionaries and mission projects around the world. She and George also volunteered to teach ESL that was affiliated with a church in a low income area of Long Beach. She enjoyed volunteering with a group of people from her church to go to "Gleanings for the Hungry" in Tulare County California. Cathy enjoyed quilting, sewing and knitting.

An excerpt from her life story called “Letters to Rosie: My Lift Story by Catherine Klein Senf”
	“Now that I have the time I realize how blessed I’ve been all my life and I owe everything to my wonderful Lord and Savior. He blessed me with wonderful 	Christian 	parents. I had good Christian training not only at home but at churches where the Gospel was preached. I accepted Jesus as my Savior when I was nine and at age 12 dedicated my life to Him in service at the Christian Endeavor Convention at Fremont Church. 
	I took as my life verse Joshua 1:9 - 
	“Be bold and strong! Banish fear and doubt! For remember, the Lord your 	God is with you wherever you go.”
	And He has been and for that I am most grateful!"

Catherine Jean Klein Senf, age 92, of Turlock, California left this world to be with her Lord August 19, 2020, with her family by her side. Cathy was born November 18, 1927 in Sacramento California. Second born child to the late Albert Jordon Klein and Florence Odgers Klein. Cathy graduated from Sacramento High in 1945. After graduation she went to Biola, a Bible College in Southern California. She graduated from Biola in 1948. Intending to serve God on the mission field she decided to become a nurse and graduated from Samuel Merritt nursing school in 1953.  She went on to be a missionary for SIM (Sudan Interior Mission) and served for 7 years working in Nigeria and Niger Republic. She nursed at many bush stations including a leprosarium and a school for missionary children. 
	
	She left the missionary field to marry the love of her life, George Alexander Senf Jr, in August 1962. Cathy helped raise his daughter, Joy, and they had three children together. They made their home in several states over the years, finally settling in Long Beach, California. Cathy is survived by three children: Alex Senf of Vancouver Washington, Beckie Dumford of El Dorado Hills California, and Christine Yarbrough of Braintree Massachusetts. She is survived by three grandchildren: Maxwell Senf, Ella Yarbrough, and Powell Yarbrough, and two great-grandchildren: Emilia Senf and August Senf. Cathy was predeceased by her loving husband in 2005.

	Cathy came from a long line of missionaries and church planters. Her father Albert Klein planted churches in the Sacramento area. Cathy’s Great Great Great Grandfather was a German missionary, Frederick Klein, who discovered the Moabite Stone, a famous biblical artifact which is now housed in the Louvre Museum.
