Edward “James” Hackett went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on September 10, 2019 at the age of 51. He was born in Stuttgart, Germany on June 9, 1968 and resided in Turlock, California at the time of his passing. James lived and loved with a full heart and continued in his faith and spreading the Gospel until the end. He was a good son, brother, uncle, and friend. He had a passion for his Faith in God and reaching out to people who were in need of help.
James is survived by his mother and father Marita and Edward James Hackett, his brother Andrew Raymond Hackett, and his nephew Jayden Ray Hackett.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Hackett.
There will be a visitation and celebration of life from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Friday, September 20, 2019 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service: 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California. Officiating the service will be Pastor Lydio Banana of Shelter Cove Church in Modesto. Following the service, James will be laid to rest at 12:00 PM at Sunnyside Cemetery: 2872 Cemetery Road, Stevinson, California.
