Francisco Soares Pereira

Mr. Francisco Soares Pereira 71, entered into rest Tuesday April 11, 2017 at Memorial Medical Center of Modesto, California. He was born in January 29, 1946 in Vila Nova, Terceira, Azores to João and Rosa Pereira, he had lived in Denair and Turlock areas for 23 years.

Mr. Pereira is survived by his wife of 45 years Maria de Lourdes Pereira of Turlock, son Francisco Manuel Coelho Pereira and his girlfriend Nivia Brasil of Turlock, daughter Teresa de Sousa of Atwater, granddaughter Lisa Anacleto. Sister Filomena Victoria of Canada, brother Lourenço Pereira of Praia da Victoria, Terceira, Azores, as well brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews and nieces. Francisco Soares Pereira was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church of Turlock, and he was preceded in death by his parents; João and Rosa Pereira, brothers; João, Manuel and José Pereira.

Services: Visitation- 2:00 to 8:00 PM, Sunday April 16, 2017 at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Combined service of Rosary and Funeral Mass- 10:00 AM, Monday April 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock. Francisco Soares Pereira will be laid to repose at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California.
