Mr. Gregorio Jorge Da Silva, Age 83 of Livingston, CA for 38 years and “Entered into Rest” on Monday, April 14, 2014 at Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock, CA. Mr. Da Silva was born in São Caetano, Pico, Azores and previously worked as a line worker for a Food Processing Corp. His Survivors include: His Wife, Margarida Garcia Da Silva of Livingston and they were married for 59 years; Son – José H. Silva and his wife Gabriela of Livingston; Daughter – Cecilia Teixeira and her boyfriend Mel Harrington of San Diego, CA; Sister – Maria de Fatima Luis of Watsonville, CA; Four Grandchildren – Michael Silva of Sacramento, Brian Silva of Livingston, Clarissa Teixeira and Greg Teixeira both of San Diego; One Great Grandchild – Anabelle Silva of San Diego; Nephews and Nieces in the United States and the Azores. Preceded in Death by: His Parents- Horacio & Maria da Silva, Two Brothers – Manuel Jorge Da Silva, Candido Jorge Da Silva; Sister – Maria Jorge Da Silva; Brother-in-Law, João Luis.

Mr. Gregorio Jorge Da Silva was a member of St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church of Livingston, Our Lady of Miracles of Gustine, Our Lady of Fatima of Turlock and Grupo de Oração.

Services: Visitation – Sunday, April 20, 2014, from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Combined Rosary and Funeral Mass – Monday, April 21, 2014 ~ 10:00 a.m. at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 330 Franci St., Livingston, CA. Interment – Following the Funeral Mass at Winton Cemetery District, 7651 Almond St., Winton, CA
