Harold was born to his parents William and Irene Cook in Modesto California on
November 15, 1950.
Harold graduated from Oakdale High School in 1968 and a few years later was drafted into the army and was honorably discharged in the 1970’s. He also graduated from MJC with his AS degree.
Harold became a Professional Rodeo Cowboy where his specialty was Saddle Bronc and Bareback Riding. He loved the thrill and adventure of his time in the rodeo circuit.
After over 30 years of working at Foster Farms Milk Plant in Modesto California he retired in 2012. Which then led him to work for Double A Dairy Services for the following 10 years.
Throughout his life Harold was a proud cattleman for over 40 years.
Harold had many other activities he truly enjoyed. His all-time favorite being a youth football coach. He coached with a few different organizations, including Turlock Youth Football for 15 years.
Harold leaves behind his girlfriend Karolyn of 10 years, daughter April Henley (Jeremy), son James Cook (Shannon), son Phillip Cook (Brandy), daughter Katie Goin (Justin), son Trevor Cook (Melinda), sister Carol Hawkins, sister Debbie Creek, brother Mike Heard (Millie)
Harold also leaves behind his nine grandchildren.
Harold is preceded in death by his parents William Cook and Oscar and Irene Heard. Sister Jo Ann Winkleman, brother Harvey Heard.
Visitation will be held February 17, 2025, from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias on 286 West Main Turlock, CA 95380
Funeral Services will be held on February 18, 2025, at 10:00am at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias on 286 West Main Turlock, CA 95380
Harold will be laid to rest in Patterson at the Patterson Cemetery on 10800 CA-33 Patterson, CA 95363.
The reception following the services will be at the Moose Lodge 821 5Th Street Modesto CA 95351
