Joe Nelson Rocha Jr.

Joe Nelson Rocha Jr. passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 59. He was born on October 30, 1966, in Escalon, California, and was a lifelong resident of the area, most recently living in Turlock, California.

Joe was a simple man who valued family above all else. He shared a close bond with his siblings and took comfort in those relationships throughout his life. He appreciated the quiet routines of daily life and found contentment in keeping things steady and straightforward.

He is survived by his brothers, Ricky Rocha (Lynnette) and Gary Rocha (Sarah); and his sisters, Angela Rocha and Dena Rocha.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joe Nelson Rocha; his mother, Paulina Miranda Rocha; his aunt, Maria Cordeiro; his uncles, John Miranda Branco and Antonio Goncalves Miranda; his maternal grandmother, Maria C. Branco; his maternal grandfather, João Carlos Branco; and his paternal grandmother, Margarida Rocha.

Joe will be laid to rest at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Escalon, California.

He will be remembered for his steady presence and the quiet loyalty he showed to those closest to him.
