John Anacleto R. Dias, age 82, of Hilmar, California passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021 in Turlock. John was born June 27, 1939 in Santa Barbara, Terciera, Azores to Alexandrina Dias and Fernando Pires Dias.
John is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Fatima Dias of Hilmar; his son Gary Enes Dias (Sharina) of Turlock; and his sister Maria João Dias Melo of Santa Barbara Terceira Azores; his brother Eurico R Dias of Modesto; his grandson Adrian Dias and his grandson Isaiah Dias. John also leaves behind brothers in law, sisters in law, nephews and nieces.
John was preceded in death by his father Fernando Pires Dias and his mother Alexandrina Dias; his brother Fernando R Dias; his brother Carlos Dias and his brother José Dias.
A visitation for John will be held Monday, August 2, 2021 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA.
A recitation of the rosary followed by funeral mass will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 8471 Cypress Street, Hilmar, CA. followed the a committal service at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA.
Serving as pallbearers are Raymond Dias, Joe Dias, Louie Dias, Eric Dias, Danny Dias, Fernando Jr. Dias, serving as honorary pallbearers are Adrian Dias and Isaiah Dias.
