Jorge Henrique Costa

Jorge Henrique Costa, age 63, of Hilmar, California passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Monday, August 28, 2023. Jorge was born in Serra da Ribeirinha, Terceira to Amelia De Jesús Parreira and Jose Da Costa Anacleto.

Jorge is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Martha Imelda Costa and his son George Costa Jr. both of Hilmar, California. Jorge is also survived by his brothers Norberto Costa of Hilmar, California, and Ernesto Costa (Maria Ines) of Ceres, California along with his sisters Ines Vieira (Antonio) and Zelia Caetano (Wagner) both of Hilmar, California. Jorge also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Jorge was preceded in death by his parents Amelia De Jesús Parreira and Jose Da Costa Anacleto, along with his siblings Fernanda Castro, Rosa María Leonardo and David Costa.

Jorge was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar, California.

A Visitation for Jorge will be held Thursday, September 7, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main Street, Turlock, California.

Recitation of the Rosary followed by Funeral Mass will be occur Friday, September 8, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Avenue, Hilmar, California.

A Committal Service will occur Friday, September 8, 2023 at N. Hilmar Cemetery District, 8710 N. Tegner Road, Hilmar, California.

Serving as pallbearers are Nelson Costa, Tommy Leonardo, Andrew Vieira, Wesley Caetano, George Martins, Everardo Ramírez, Alfonso Lomeli, Justin Rocha, Steven Alves and Justin Martins.
