Jose Sanchez Cruz

Mr. Jose Sanchez Cruz, age 83 “Entered into Rest” on Sunday, December 8, 2013 with family by his side at the Emanuel Medical Center in Turlock. He was employed in Poultry Company for 25 years in the Live Haul Dept. Mr. Cruz enjoyed Boxing, just riding around and he was quite a jokester.

He is survived by: Five Sons – Joe Cruz, Manuel Cruz and Richard Cruz, all of Turlock and Andy L. Cruz and his wife Carmen, and Paul Cruz, all of Phoenix, Arizona. Three Daughters – Monica Cruz, Sheri Cruz and Aaliyah Cruz all of Turlock. Seventeen Grandchildren and Eighteen Great Grandchildren. Mr. Cruz was preceded in death by his wife Mary Socorro on Jan. 17, 2005.

Services:

Visitation; Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, CA. With a Prayer Service at 6:00 PM in English and then in Spanish.

Funeral Service; 10:00 AM, Monday, December 16, 2013 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Burial followed the service at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, CA.
