José F. Lopes

Mr. Jose F. Lopes passed away peacefully in Modesto, Thursday October 27, 2016 surrounded by his family. He was born in Praia do Almoxarife, Faial Azores, has lived in Turlock for 43 years and was 87 years old. Mr. Lopes is survived by his wife Berta A Lopes of Turlock, 2 Daughters- Maria de Fatima Lucas and Filomena Adams both of Turlock. 9 Grandchildren’s and 16 Great Grandchildren. Siter- Regina Dias of Turlock, and a Sister- in- Law- Lina Lopes of Turlock. Numerous Nephews and Nieces. Mr. Lopes was preceded in death by his Son- Joseph A. Lopes and his parents Jose A. Lopes, and Maria Lopes.

He was a great parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Turlock.

Services: Visitation- Monday from 2:00 to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main Street, Turlock, California with a Vigil & Rosary at 7:00 PM. Funeral Mass: Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave. Turlock, California.

Mr. Lopes will be laid to rest a Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California.
