Joe passed away peacefully in this sleep at his home in Roy, Utah, after a short illness. He grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey to a Rail Road family, and was raised by his aunt and uncle Martino’s. When he turned 17 years he enlisted in the marines, and served our country bravely in both WW II and the Korean War, and was sent home “Honorable”. He always wore his marine cap with honor. He retired from the marine corp after 20 years, and went to work for the same base in San Diego, where he also retired after 20 years. Joe and Bee met in California and married in 1974, just celebrated there 41th Wedding Anniversary in September. Joe and Bee moved from San Diego California to Roy Utah so they could be near to his son Dennis and his family. They both loved to travel; Going to New Jersey and back to California to see family and friends. He was a very quiet man, but you could see, he was always thinking of the next funny story to tell everyone.
