Born on January 8, 1952, in Pico, Azores, to Giomar De Oliveira Da Silva and Francisco Cardoso Da Silva—both of whom preceded him in death—Manuel spent the last 25 years of his life in California, quietly making his home in the Turlock area.
Manuel is survived by his three children—one residing in Pico, Azores, and two in California—as well as his two brothers, who also live in Pico. Manuel lived life on his own terms. He was a loner by nature, someone who valued his solitude and walked through life with quiet independence.
While he was not a practicing Catholic, Manuel held a quiet faith in God, a belief that remained with him throughout his life.
May his soul now find the peace he often sought in life, and may those who remember him find comfort in that peace.
No words were said, no last goodbyes,
Just quiet days beneath the skies.
The ties once frayed, now softly still—
A soul at rest, beyond the hill.
Though paths diverged and voices ceased,
We hope you've found your final peace.
