Manuel Martins Machado

Mr. Manuel Martins Machado, age 75 “Entered into Rest” on Monday, September 8, 2014 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson, CA. He was born in Biscoits, Terceira, Azores and a resident in Turlock, CA for 50 years and was a Dairyman for 41 years. Mr. Machado was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, Dairyman’s Association, and a Director of the Turlock Pentecost Association. He is survived by: his wife of 49 years, Mary L. Machado of Turlock; Son – David M. Machado and his wife Sarah of Hilmar, CA; Daughter – Victoria Maria Machado of Turlock; Sister – Maria Sousa of Turlock; Three Grandchildren – Zoey M. Machado, Logan M. Machado and Vincent M. Machado.

Services: Visitation – Tuesday, September 16, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock. Rosary – Tuesday, September 16th, 7:00 p.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock. Funeral Mass – Wednesday, September 17th, 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Turlock. Interment following the Funeral Mass at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
