Manuel Rodrigues

Mr. Manuel Rodrigues entered into rest Friday, February 20, 2015 in Hughson, California, he was 89 years old, and was born in São Bento, Terceira, Azores. He lived in Hilmar for several years. Mr. Rodrigues is survived by his Wife- Maria Laçalette Rodrigues of Hilmar.

Four Sons- Fernando Rodrigues and his wife Mary of Hilmar, Paul Rodrigues and his wife Linda, Luis Rodrigues and his wife Carla, Alex Rodrigues and his wife Maria, all of Turlock. Six Daughters- Manuela Oliveira and her husband Joe of Hilmar, Zelia Silveira and her husband Carlos of Turlock, Fernanda Rafael and her husband Luis of Modesto, Dora Goulart and her husband Leo of Turlock, Mary Machado and her husband Manuel of Delhi, Louisa Diazdeleon and her husband George of Modesto.

16 Grandchildren and 9 Great- Grandchildren.

Sister- Maria Alice Marques of Terceira, Azores. Two Brothers- Antonio Rodrigues and João Rodrigues, both of Terceira, Azores. 2 Sisters-in-Law- Virginia Parreira of Terceira, Azores, and Alvarina Galante and her husband Antonio of Hilmar. Numerous Nieces and Nephews.

Mr. Manuel Rodrigues was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church of Hilmar and Casa dos Açôres of Hilmar.

Services: Visitation-2:00 to 8:00 PM, Thursday, February 26, 2015, at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California.

Combined Service of Rosary & Mass- 10:00 AM, Friday, February 27, 2015 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church, 20263 American Ave., Hilmar, CA.

Mr. Rodrigues will be laid to rest at Turlock Memorial Park, 575, N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
