Maria shared 60 years of marriage with her devoted husband, José Berbereia Franco, a partnership built on commitment and family. She was a steady presence in the lives of those she loved: a devoted wife, a dependable mother, a proud grandmother, and a joyful great-grandmother. Maria was known for her strong work ethic and sense of responsibility. She worked hard throughout her life and took pride in providing for her family, leading by example through consistency, humility, and care for others.
She is survived by her husband, José Berbereia Franco; her daughters, Aldiva Franco-Tyree (Marc) and Laurie Folkner (Eugene); and her son, Joey Franco (Brian Krepps). She is also survived by her siblings, José Ormonde, Gorette Silva (Antonio), and Alma Silva (João). Maria’s legacy lives on through her grandchildren, Justin Franco, Taylor Garibay (Eric), Dylan Folkner, Mallory Franco, and Emma Franco-Tyree, and her great-granddaughters, Olivia Garibay and Isabella Perez.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Domingos Ormonde and Etelvina Ormonde.
Maria was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 2, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main Street, Turlock, California 95380.
Recitation of the Rosary and Funeral Mass Tuesday, February 3, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, California 95380.
Committal Service will follow at North Hilmar Cemetery, 8710 Tegner Road, Hilmar, California 95324.
Pallbearers will be Joey Franco, Eugene Folkner, Justin Franco, Brian Krepps, Dylan Folkner, and Eric Garibay.

Deixa também os seus irmãos, José Ormonde, de Chino, California, Gorette Silva (Antonio), Apple Valley, Californa e Alma Silva (João) de Apple Valley, California. Os seus netos, Justin Franco, Taylor Garibay (Eric), Dylan Folkner, Mallory Franco e Emma Franco-Tyree, e as suas bisnetas, Olivia Garibay e Isabella Perez.
Foi precedida na morte pelos seus pais, Domingos Ormonde e Etelvina Ormonde.
Maria era paroquiana da Igreja Católica do Sagrado Coração, em Turlock.
