Passed away at her home in Hilmar, California at the age of 81. Mrs. Pereira was born in Agualva, Terceira, Azores. She was a homemaker for 56 years, she also was a member of the Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Hilmar, and Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church in Turlock.
She’s survived by:
Her Husband Joao M. Pereira of Hilmar. Son; Joao F. Pereira of Hilmar, Daughters; Maria J. Calzada of Newman, and Guadalupe Graham of Fairfield. 5 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Services; Visitation from 2 to 8 PM, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California.

Combined service on her memory will be held at 10:00 Am, Friday, January 13, 2012 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock, California. Burial at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, California 95380.
