Maria Rodrigues Santos

Maria Rodrigues Santos, age 91, of Turlock, California passed away at Turlock Nursing Rehab, on Friday, August 5, 2022. Maria was born July 26,1931 in Ribeira Seca, Sao Jorge, Acores to Teresa Rodrigues and Antonio Alfonso.

Maria is survived by her two sons, Anthony Santos (Anita) of Merced and Joseph Santos (Rosa) of Atwater; her four sisters Teresa da Silva of Atwater, Laura Nunes of Sao Jorge, Amelia Cuadres also of Sao Jorge and Christina Fontes of Canada. Maria is also survived by her six grandchildren, Justin Santos (Daniel), Brian Santos, Micaela Santos, Michael Santos (Sabrina), Mark Santos (Erin) and Morgan Santos (Damien). Along with her four great grandchildren Jayden Santos, Khloe Santos, Abbey Santos and Arlo Santos.

Maria was preceded in death by her spouse Antonio Santos, her father Antonio Alfonso, her mother Teresa Rodrigues and her brothers Joao Alfonso, Antonio Alfonso and Jose Alfonso.

Maria was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock, California.

A visitation for Maria will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Whitehurst-Norton-Dias Funeral Service, 286 West Main, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Rosary Service followed by a Funeral Mass will occur Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church- Lyons Ave., 1200 Lyons Avenue, Turlock, CA 95380.

A Committal Service will follow the Funeral Mass Wednesday, August 17, 2022 at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 North Soderquist Road, Turlock, CA 95380.

Serving as pallbearers are Michael Santos, Mark Santos, Damien Head, Ed Agueda, Gilbert Silva, Arlo A. Santos, Justin Santos and Brock Pisacco.
