Rogelio Ventura Gomez

Rogelio nació el 18 de agosto de 1988 en Guanajuato, México. En el año 2005 llegó a los Estados Unidos con sueños sencillos y un espíritu lleno de determinación. Con frecuencia decía en tono de broma que había venido para comprarse una Toyota Tacoma y una motocicleta de motocross, pero Dios tenía planes mucho más grandes para su vida.

Tan solo tres meses después de llegar, conoció al amor de su vida, Rosa. Desde el momento en que se conocieron fueron inseparables. Juntos construyeron una vida basada en el amor, la fe, el trabajo duro y la familia.

Rogelio y Rosa contrajeron matrimonio en el año 2008 y más adelante bendijeron su unión por la Iglesia Católica en el año 2021. Su fe fue siempre una parte muy importante de sus vidas, y Rogelio fue un devoto miembro de la Iglesia Católica St. Frances of Rome en Riverbank. Juntos formaron una hermosa familia y un hogar lleno de amor, risas y recuerdos inolvidables.

Por encima de todo, Rogelio fue un esposo y padre ejemplar. Su mayor alegría en la vida era su esposa y sus hijos. Cada uno de sus hijos fue esperado y planeado con mucho amor, y él mismo eligió con orgullo el nombre de cada uno de ellos. Trabajó incansablemente para que a su familia nunca le faltara nada y para brindarles todas las oportunidades posibles. A Rosa siempre le decía: "Lo que quiera mi Reina," y a sus hijos: "Para eso trabajo," palabras que reflejaban el inmenso amor y dedicación que sentía por su esposa e hijos.

Rogelio era el tipo de esposo que no solo soñaba junto a su esposa, sino que hacía realidad esos sueños. Cuando compraron su hogar, trabajó sin descanso para remodelarlo exactamente como Rosa lo había imaginado. Construyó muebles con sus propias manos y enseñó a su esposa e hijos a utilizar herramientas y equipo para que pudieran construir a su lado. Creía en enseñar, compartir sus conocimientos y crear juntos como familia.

Sus hijos siempre recordarán a un padre que hacía de cada fin de semana una aventura especial. Siempre había un paseo planeado, ya fuera para ir de campamento, viajar, andar en motocicletas de motocross, salir en el RZR o simplemente disfrutar tiempo de calidad en familia. Le encantaba crear recuerdos y estaba convencido de que el tiempo en familia era el tesoro más grande de la vida. Cada mañana despertaba a sus hijos abriendo las ventanas de sus habitaciones y diciendo con alegría: "It's a beautiful day in paradise."

Rogelio era conocido por su extraordinaria ética de trabajo. Comenzó a trabajar en la construcción a los 17 años, y gracias a su determinación, dedicación y muchos años de esfuerzo, llegó a convertirse en supervisor de NGB Construction y posteriormente ayudó a formar parte del crecimiento de Level 10 Concrete gracias a su liderazgo, conocimientos y arduo trabajo. Era muy respetado por sus compañeros de trabajo y admirado como mentor, siempre dispuesto a enseñar y motivar a los demás a aprender. Una de las frases que más repetía en el trabajo era: "Aprendan, que no les voy a durar toda la vida," palabras que hoy adquieren un significado mucho más profundo.

Fuera del trabajo, Rogelio disfrutaba profundamente de las motocicletas de motocross, las motos, las motos acuáticas, los paseos en lancha, las aventuras todo terreno y cualquier actividad que reuniera a su familia. Le encantaba viajar y conocer nuevos lugares, siempre buscando nuevas experiencias y recuerdos para compartir con quienes más amaba. Tenía una sonrisa contagiosa, un excelente sentido del humor y la capacidad de hacer sentir bienvenidos a todos los que lo rodeaban. Familiares y amigos siempre lo recordarán diciendo: "Está café, y sabe a té," una frase que nunca dejaba de sacar una sonrisa.

Como uno de los menores de once hermanos, Rogelio ocupaba un lugar muy especial dentro de su familia. Amaba profundamente a sus padres y siempre estaba dispuesto a ayudar a quien lo necesitara. Llevó sobre sus hombros muchas responsabilidades sin quejarse y con frecuencia era la persona a quien los demás acudían en busca de consejo, apoyo y fortaleza. Fue un amigo leal, un tío y hermano muy querido, un mentor respetado y un compañero de trabajo en quien todos podían confiar.

Rogelio vivió una vida marcada por la generosidad, la fe, la lealtad y el amor incondicional. Nunca juzgó a nadie y siempre buscó la manera de ayudar a los demás a salir adelante. Ya fuera ayudando a un sobrino, alentando a un compañero de trabajo, apoyando a un amigo o cuidando de su familia, siempre daba lo mejor de sí sin esperar nada a cambio.

Rogelio deja para honrar y preservar su memoria a su amada esposa, Rosa Ventura; sus hijas, Layla Ventura y Kayla Ventura; sus hijos, Roy Ventura y John Ventura; a sus queridos padres; a sus hermanos; numerosos sobrinos; familiares; y un sinfín de amigos cuyas vidas fueron tocadas para siempre por su bondad, sus consejos y su amor.

Su partida deja un vacío imposible de llenar en la vida de todos quienes tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y amarlo. Aunque su tiempo entre nosotros fue demasiado corto, las enseñanzas que dejó, los recuerdos que creó y el amor que compartió vivirán por siempre en el corazón de su esposa, sus hijos, su familia y sus amigos.

El legado de Rogelio no se mide por todo lo que construyó con sus manos, sino por la familia que tanto amó, las personas a quienes ayudó a levantarse y las innumerables vidas que tocó con su ejemplo.

With profound sadness and broken hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Rogelio Ventura Gomez on June 18, 2026, at the age of 37.

Rogelio was born on August 18, 1988, in Guanajuato, Mexico. In 2005, he came to the United States with simple dreams and a determined spirit. He often joked that he came here to buy a Toyota Tacoma and a dirt bike, but God had much bigger plans for his life.

Just three months after arriving, he met the love of his life, Rosa. From the moment they met, they were inseparable. Together they built a life rooted in love, faith, hard work, and family.

Rogelio and Rosa married in 2008 and later celebrated their marriage through the Catholic Church in 2021. Their faith was an important part of their lives, and Rogelio was a devoted member of St. Frances of Rome Catholic Church in Riverbank. Together, they built a beautiful family and a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Above all else, Rogelio was a devoted husband and father. His greatest joy in life was his wife and children. Every child was planned with love, and he proudly chose each of their names. He worked tirelessly to ensure his family never went without and that they had every opportunity he could provide. To Rosa, he often said, “Lo que quiera mi Reina,” and to his children “para eso trabajo,” a reflection of the deep love and devotion he had for his wife and daughters.

Rogelio was the kind of husband who not only dreamed with his wife but made those dreams reality. When they purchased their home, he worked tirelessly to remodel it exactly as Rosa envisioned. He built furniture with his own hands and taught his wife and children how to use tools and equipment so they could build alongside him. He believed in teaching, sharing knowledge, and creating together as a family.

His children remember a father who made every weekend special. There was always a family adventure planned, whether it was camping, traveling, riding dirt bikes, taking the RZR out, or simply spending quality time together. He loved creating memories and believed that family time was life's greatest treasure. Every morning, he would wake his children by opening their windows and cheerfully saying, “It's a beautiful day in paradise.”

Rogelio was known for his incredible work ethic. He worked from sunrise to sunset, often seven days a week, all to provide for the people he loved. He bagan to work in construction at the age of 17 and through determination, dedication, and many years of hard work he became supervisor for NGB Construction and later helped build Level 10 Concrete through his leadership, knowledge, and hard work. He was respected by coworkers and admired as a mentor who always encouraged others to learn and grow. One of his well-known sayings at work was, “Aprendan, que no les voy a durar toda la vida,” words that now carry an even deeper meaning.

Outside of work, Rogelio was passionate about dirt bikes, motorcycles, jet-skis, boating, any off-road adventures, and anything that brought his family together. He loved traveling to new places always seeking new experiences and memories to share with those he loved. He had a contagious smile, a wonderful sense of humor, and a way of making everyone around him feel welcome. Family and friends will forever remember him saying, “Está café, y sabe a té,” a phrase that never failed to make people smile.

As one of the youngest of eleven siblings, Rogelio held a special place in his family. He cared deeply for his mother and father and was always willing to help anyone in need. He carried the weight of many responsibilities without complaint and was often the person others turned to for guidance, support, and strength. He was a trusted friend, beloved uncle and brother, respected mentor, and dependable coworker.

Rogelio lived a life defined by generosity, faith, loyalty, and unconditional love. He never judged others and always looked for ways to help people succeed. Whether helping a nephew, encouraging a coworker, supporting a friend, or caring for family, he gave freely of himself and expected nothing in return.

Rogelio is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa Ventura; his daughters, Layla Ventura and Kayla Ventura; his sons, Roy Ventura and John Ventura; his mother and father; his siblings; numerous nieces and nephews; extended family members; and countless friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness, guidance, and love.

His passing leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of all who knew and loved him. Though his time with us was far too short, the lessons he taught, the memories he created, and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of his wife, children, family, and friends forever.

Rogelio's legacy is not measured by what he built with his hands, but by the family he loved, the people he lifted up, and the countless lives he touched.

He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
