Samantha Christine Parreira “Entered into Rest” on March 31, 2013 at the young age of 16. She was born in Merced, CA and has lived there ever since and enjoyed art, dancing and cosmetology. Samantha is survived by her Mother Desireé D. Parreira and Step-Father Eric Cagle both of Merced; Brother Skylar Rayeé Cagle of Merced; Sister Michelle Parreira of Chowchilla and her Fiancé Anthony Rodriguez; Grandparents Stan & Mary Romero of Atwater and Grandparents Jose & Leonilde Parreira of Delhi; Godfather Oliver Soares of Los Banos; Godmother Jennifer Haynes of Chowchilla and several Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. She was preceded in death by her Father João Parreira on October 18, 2007.
Visitation is scheduled for Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Chapel, 286 W. Main St., Turlock with the Vigil & Rosary at 7:30 p.m. at the Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, April 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 1200 Lyons Ave., Turlock. Interment following the Mass at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock.
