Victor Pedro Reis

Pedro is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Mariana Reis of Turlock, and his two daughters- Cindy Reis Jordão, husband Joe, and Elizabeth Reis of Turlock. Three grandchildren- Taylor Jordão, Devin Jordão and Makenzie Jordão all of Turlock. Two sisters- Carolina Sousa of Turlock and Gabriela Fontes of São Jorge, Azores.

Victor Pedro Reis was a devoted parishioner of Our Lady of Assumption Church in Turlock, he also belonged to the “Equipas de Nossa Senhora” #2 of Turlock, he was a member of Luso American Financial Fraternal Society of Turlock. He loved to paint, and playing the guitar. He played for the “cantorias” at a lot of the local Portuguese Festas. He also loved being near the ocean and enjoyed fishing. He was a loving husband, amazing father, devoted grandfather and brother and a great friend. He was the LOVE of his family & friends.

Services: Visitation- 1:00 to 4:00 PM, Thursday March 2, 2017 at Whitehurst, Norton & Dias Funeral Service, 286 W. Main St., Turlock, California, with Vigil & Rosary at 7:00 PM at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church, 2602 S. Walnut Rd., Turlock. Mass of the Christian Burial- 10:00 AM, Friday March 3, 2017 at Our Lady of Assumption Catholic Church. Mr. Reis will be laid to repose at Turlock Memorial Park, 575 N. Soderquist Rd., Turlock, CA.
