Ann S. Connell

Ann S. Connell, age 92, passed away June 4, 2023. Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home with Steven Langford and Bryan Geer officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Ms. Connell was preceded in death by husbands Tucker Brewer and Albert B. Connell; and her parents, Clarence and Ruth Sewell.

She is survived by her sons, Mike Brewer (Dot) and Dan Brewer; step-son, Terry Connell (Patty); granddaughters, Katie Geer (Bryan), Becca Langford (Steven), Mollie Glasgow (Jarrod), Colleen Farwell (Brandon), and Mikaela Brewer; and great-grandchildren, Emma Langford, Henderson Jones, Trace Langford, Izzie Jones, Willow Glasgow, Brewer Jones, Wren Glasgow, Fox Glasgow, Pippa Glasgow, and Lena Farwell.

Ann was born in Mobile, Ala. November 12, 1930. She was a member at First Baptist Tuscaloosa.

Pallbearers will be Brooks Mouchette, Jimmy Adams, Glenn Johnson, Austin Brewer, Trace Langford, and Henderson Jones.

Honorary pallbearers are Hazel Mouchette and family, Bannie Smithson, Sarah Sullivan, employees of The Landings, employees of Pine Valley, Linda and Dick Bright, Dee and Ronnie Dockery and family, Dr. Ross Vaughn, Alice Patrick, Debbie Watson, Dr. Brian Wilhite, Dr. Hiram Johnson, Joan Jennings and family, Lane and Glenn Johnson, Austin and Eura Brewer and family, Glenda and Bob Stemm and Brett, Patsy and David Marlowe, and Ann Taylor and family.
