Barbara Peach Freeman

Barbara Peach Freeman, age 76, of Tuscaloosa, Ala., died March 7, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 9, 2017, at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Bro. Chip Freeman officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert L. Peach and Doris Peach and sister, Florene Booker.Survivors include her husband, William Jack Freeman; daughter, Debbie F. Boyd; sons, William Todd Freeman and Jack Thomas Freeman (Kirsten); sister, Joan Darr; and grandchildren, Blake C. Boyd, William Jake Boyd, Caitlyn L. Freeman and Allison N. Freeman.She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. All that knew Barbara loved her. She and Jack ran Freemans TV for 47 years and would have celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on June 15, 2017. The family would like to say thank you to the University Church of Christ, Taylorville Baptist Church and the Taylorville Community. Heaven has gained an angel.Honorary pallbearers are Taylorville Baptist Church, Taylorville Community and all of her loving family.In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
