Barbara JoAnn Yalch

Barbara Jo Ann Elliott Yalch, age 75, of Northport, AL (originally Roaring Springs, PA) passed away Monday, March 23, 2026 at UAB Cardio-Pulmonary Healthcare. There will be a memorial service held for her Saturday, March 28, 2026 at 10am at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home. Pastor Jonathan Lawson (Christ Harbor Church) will be officiating.

She was retired from the Veterans Affairs Hospital.

She was preceded in death by her parents William McKinley Elliott and Gertrude LaRue Dunkle Elliott and multiple brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Joseph Yalch, Sr. (Northport, AL - originally Berwick, PA), daughter, Teresa Lynn Price (Jeff) of Northport, AL. Son, Ronald Joseph Yalch Jr (Angela) of Zion Grove, PA. Granddaughters: Kimber Jo Ann Price (Northport, AL) and Courtney Elizabeth Yalch of New Castle, Delaware. Sister Maude Elliot Snyder (Carl) from Sunbury, PA; brother David Elliott (Anne) of Hendersonville, TN and sister Thelma Elliott Smith of Middleburg, PA. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephew's.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am on March 28, 2026, at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home & Cremations, 5200 Old Birmingham Highway, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35404. A reception will follow at the home of Mr. Yalch at 12607 Hickory Drive Northport, AL. 35475.
