Betty Burroughs Lee, age 86, passed away at home on April 28, 2025. Services will be at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, Thursday, May 1, 2025 at 11:00 am, viewing for family at 10:00 am. Officiating will be her daughter, Tina Lee. Betty Lee was a hardworking, faithful wife and mother. She was co-owner of C & B Restaurant of Northport alongside her husband. She was a current member of Collectivus Church, Calera, AL.
She was preceded in death by Chester Lee, her husband for 64 years. Her parents, Alvis Newman and Virgie Ida Burroughs, her siblings, Barbara Jenkins, Cletis Burroughs, Robert Burroughs, Delilah Ann Hughes, and her grand daughter, Bettina Hope Madison Haynes.
She is survived by her siblings, John Burroughs (Inez) and Catherine Winters (Boyce). Her three daughters, Dee Lee (Ronnie Haynes), Cindy Kelly, and Tina Lee. Her 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The pall bearers will be Josh Kelly, Garret Kelly, Adam Truitt, Ronnie Haynes, Phillip Bahakel, and Shaun LaForty.
