Betty is survived by Tony Mallette, Hugh Mallette, Deborah Mallette, Frances Lunceford, Carolyn Swindle, Theda Mallette, nine grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, Stanley Gilmore, nieces, and nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her father, Hugh Gilmore, mother, Helen Gilmore, and her husband William L. Mallette, Tutt Gilmore, Charles Gilmore, Raymond Gilmore, and Freddie Gilmore

A graveside service for Betty will be held Friday, April 4, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Memory Hill Gardens, 2200 Skyland Blvd East, Tuscaloosa, Alabama 35405.
