Best known as "The Candy Lady" to so many, she was born in Tuscaloosa on March 16, 1944 to Howard and Bemie Milligan. She has been a light of hope, pillar of strength and blanket of comfort since that day.
Her most important mission in life was to give love unselfishly to her children, grandchildren, friends, family and anyone she knew. Not only was Bobbie a loving and devoted daughter, sister, wife and mother, she spent over 20 years spreading joy and smiles to so many people as a PCA/Escort at DCH Regional Medical Center before retiring in 2008. To know her was to know pure love and be truly blessed. Pallbearers will be Chris Wedgeworth, Josh Wedgeworth, Hank Wedgeworth, Tyler Snow, Jasper Sims, Colby French and Colton French. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
